What can Accountable do?
It tracks every income and expense you type in, lays the month out on a calendar, warns you before a budget runs out, books your recurring bills, and projects what your savings could become. Logging and reviewing your money is free; a few of the ways of looking at it are paid, and every one of those is marked below.
What can I track in Accountable?
Every income and expense you type in, with an amount, category, date, notes and an optional receipt photo. There is no cap on how much you log and no charge for logging it.
What does Accountable do automatically?
It books your recurring payments on the right day, without you opening the app. Everything else is deliberately manual, because typing the number is what makes you notice the number.
How does Accountable help me understand my spending?
It answers the four questions you actually have — what is left, what came in, what went out, and what changed — before you have to scroll or calculate anything. Budgets warn you at 85% rather than reporting the overspend afterwards.
Can I get my data out of Accountable?
Yes, all of it, at any time, on the free plan. One click exports every transaction, category, income source and recurring rule as CSV — there is no export fee and no premium tier that holds your own records back.
What do the savings and investing tools do?
They show what the money you did not spend could become, with the arithmetic on screen rather than hidden behind a single confident number. Fourteen high-yield accounts are compared on what you would actually end up with rather than on the headline rate. Seventeen index funds with their fees, ten-year returns, dividend yields and risk levels, plus a growth projection you can change every assumption in.
Which features are free and which are paid?
Free covers the ledger and what it adds up to: unlimited entries, the dashboard, the Information answers and CSV export, with no card and no time limit. Silver adds the calendar and stops there. Gold is everything else — budgets, recurring entries, receipts, and the three money tools.
What does Accountable know about me?
Only what you type in. There is no bank connection to make, no statement to scrape and no aggregator in the middle, so there is nothing about your accounts for anyone to lose.
