Accountable is a manual-entry budgeting app with no bank connections. You type in each income and expense yourself, which takes about four seconds, and it shows you where the money went — on a dashboard, and on a calendar that colours in the days you made money and the days you did not.
How much does it cost?
Tracking your money is free forever, with no card and no limits. Free is $0, Silver is $2.99 a month, Gold is $5.00 a month, in US dollars. The paid plans add ways of looking at data you have already entered; they never restrict access to it, and CSV export is on the free plan.
Why manual entry?
Because automatic import means handing a data aggregator your banking credentials, and it also means the numbers arrive without you ever looking at them. Typing an amount takes about four seconds and is the moment you actually notice what you spent.
